enrolling in

summer school

There are some important steps to take to make sure that the summer school you are enrolling with will be accepted for credits at LCHS. Please carefully read the information below.

School Supply

Below are the options we recommend for summer school. Please look at the options under each tab.  Summer School is intended for recovery credit, dual enrollment, and special circumstances.

IMPORTANT: Make sure to have any class that you want to count towards your LCHS diploma approved first.  Classes not approved may not be included on the LCHS diploma and may not count towards HS graduation.

LCHS cannot guarantee a class will be offered or space in the class will be available.  All Math and English classes are for recovery ONLY.  Science classes MUST have a lab.  Foreign Language classes MUST be taken at the college level.

Step 1:

Choose the school that you plan to take courses in. See what they offer.

Step 2.

Choose the course(s) you need.

Step 3.

Talk to Mr. Sanchez or Mrs. Allen to get the class(es) approved.  You may take any class you wish, but if you want it to be on your LCHS Diploma and count towards your High School credits, the class must be approved by LCHS.

Step 4.

Once you receive approval, register for the course. Go to the tab of the school and follow the instructions to register.

If you have any questions please email an academic advisor:
